1st Day:We will round up the herd of horses that we will be moving the following day and marvel at the sunlit autumn colours and snow-capped mountains that surround us. We will spend the night in the Auberge Cavalière.
2nd Day : Once all is calm and everything is prepared, we will begin our trail towards the lower plains and the lull of winter. We will travel along a path called “chemin de Napoléon” to the village of Accous. We will then follow shepherd paths that run along a mountain stream heading towards the Bouesou Pass where we shall stop for lunch. Once refreshed, we will ride on through the beautiful Isseaux forest until we get to the village of Lourdios.
3rd Day : Today we shall say goodbye to the high mountains and head down towards the plain, riding through the Bugangue woods where a session of “Paluchet” awaits us.
4th Day : In the morning, we will pass through the town of Oloron Sainte Marie, where we will hear the sound of hooves ringing out in its pretty streets. In Verdets, we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we will head towards Lay-Lamidou, our final destination, following paths that will take us through beautiful open meadows.
